Project financing through Bavarian, German and international public funding
In addition to income from donations, the Menschen für Menschen Foundation finances projects with public funds, thereby contributing directly to the quality standards of German and international public development cooperation. Since 2018, MFM has been implementing publicly funded projects in an extensive portfolio within its own department. This gives the foundation comprehensive expertise in the financial and content-related design of new projects as well as in all questions relating to funding law (federal, state, EU) in the handling of public funds.
Combined with its decades of experience, a team of around 530 local employees and a transparent, responsible organisational structure (anchored in its Code of Conduct, among other things), MFM has proven itself to be a trustworthy and attractive implementation partner for public donors.
