Exemplary and outstanding commitment for the African continent: In a festive event, the Menschen für Menschen Foundation honors an individual or a project for exemplary and outstanding commitment to the African continent with the Karlheinz Böhm Prize in regular intervals.
The appreciation is intended to commemorate the vision and life’s work of the founder Karlheinz Böhm and at the same time look back at past and future development cooperation, which has so far helped over six million people in Ethiopia to find decent living conditions.
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the Foundation awarded the Karlheinz Böhm Prize for the third time on November 20, 2021. The award winner was Paula Caballero.
