Bequests
A decision for the good that remains and continues to have an effect
With a will, you decide how your assets will be used, which of your values you want to pass on, and which of your social values you want to live on. With your will for Menschen für Menschen, you can do good beyond your lifetime and support future generations in Ethiopia in the long term to continue improving their lives on their own.
Your estate or bequest can make an important contribution to making the world a more peaceful and just place. As a charitable foundation, Menschen für Menschen is exempt from inheritance tax. Your testamentary donation will therefore benefit our projects in full.
The good feeling of having everything sorted
What will happen to my home, my contracts or my pet when I am no longer here? These and similar questions concern many people who are thinking about their estate – including our supporters.
If you include Menschen für Menschen in your will, we will take care of the administration of your estate in the event of inheritance, if you wish so. We will carry out your last wishes respectfully and responsibly – from dealing with personal belongings to clearing out your home. Everything will be done in accordance with your wishes and from a single source – with empathy, transparency and the utmost care.

Seal of approval "In guten Händen"
The Menschen für Menschen Foundation bears the seal of approval ‘In guten Händen’ (In good hands) from the initiative ‘Mein Erbe tut Gutes. Das Prinzip Apfelbaum’ (My inheritance does good. The apple tree principle). Behind this is a German association of several non-profit organisations that want to support people in their efforts to contribute to a society worth living in by making a donation in their will.
