Menschen für Menschen supports people in Ethiopia in all key areas of life – needs-oriented, long-term and sustainable. Donate the proceeds of your foundation or fulfill your funding purpose and create something lasting as a donor. We take our role as an executive body and implementation partner very seriously. We offer many years of experience of integrated project work and a partnership at eye level.

Together with your help, we can achieve a great impact: Your assets will contribute to a better world for the people of Ethiopia for many years to come. We are happy to advise you on possible sponsorship projects and address your individual interests. If you wish, you can also engage in dialog with our decision-makers.

Your endowment

An endowment is a particularly long-lasting and sustainable form of commitment. With your contribution, we can make a big difference: Your assets will contribute to a better world for the rural population in Ethiopia for many years to come. The amount you transfer flows into the assets of the Menschen für Menschen Foundation. In this way, your endowment increases the capital stock in the long term, while the interest from your endowment finances our project work. An endowment can be claimed for tax purposes up to an amount of one million euros in Germany. In this way, you support our project work in the long term and enjoy tax benefits.

Trust foundations

By setting up a trust foundation (foundation without legal capacity), you have the opportunity to use your assets effectively for a good cause in the long term. You enter a contract with the Menschen für Menschen Foundation as trustee, which manages the foundation’s assets and in accordance with the objectives set out in your articles of association.

A trust foundation can be set up with an amount of less than €50,000 in Germany. You can also apply for non-profit status, which brings tax advantages for you as the founder of the foundation.
